To create a watch to complement the Parola pen, Montegrappa turned to Switzerland, so near to the company’s home in Northeastern Italy. Modern in its styling, the Parola Wristwatch is also contemporary in its dimensions, with a case enjoying a diameter of a generous 40mm. Within, ensuring its timekeeping accuracy, is the Swiss-made Ronda 515 quartz movement. Available in black or silver, the dial is patterned with multiple textures, showing horizontal stripes in the middle, with smooth outer surfaces. Black dauphine hands are fitted, with bar indices to indicate the hours and a “railway track” chapter ring to identify the minutes.
The date is displayed through a window positioned at 3 o’clock. To provide perfect aesthetic continuity with the Parola pens, a faceted stone is positioned just below the 12 o’clock position, the time-setting crown is faceted, while the bezel is faceted as well. Attached to the case’s strong lugs is a linked steel bracelet, which closes with a deployant clasp.
