Montegrappa joined one of the region’s most iconic offshore sailing events — a daring passage from Dubai’s vibrant coastline to a tranquil shores of Muscat. More than a competition, it’s a journey that tests resilience, unity, and character at sea.
With wind in the sails and stories unfolding onboard, this year’s race captured not just the spirit of adventure, but the essence of those who lead the charge.
THE ODYSSEY CONTINUES
To honour the first team to cross the finish line, Montegrappa awarded the Odyssey Pen — a writing instrument inspired by mythology and long-distance journeys. A symbol of perseverance, discovery, and transformation, Odyssey captures the essence of the open sea and those who dare to navigate it.
INK MEETS GRAPHITE: A CAPTAIN’S KEEPSAKE
Adding a new dimension to the experience, Montegrappa introduced a personal and artistic tribute.
A skilled caricature artist was invited to sketch each boat’s captain, capturing their unique spirit with character and charm. These portraits were then signed by each crew, turning every page into a record of teamwork and personality.
All artworks have been compiled into a special Captains’ Log (Dubai to Muscat) — now available to view at the Dubai Offshore Sailing Club, with a digital version available for download below.
WHERE LEGACY MEETS INDIVIDUALITY
Organised by the Dubai Offshore Sailing Club (DOSC) in collaboration with the UAE Sailing and Rowing Federation, the Dubai to Muscat Race continues to inspire sailors and spectators alike. It remains a powerful expression of skill, unity, and passion for the open water.
