In the bicentennial year of Giuseppe Verdi’s birth, diffusion bonding was used to recreate the harlequin pattern of the Italian maestro’s legendary court jester.

Rigoletto Fountain Pen is a prestigious limited-edition writing instrument inspired by Giuseppe Verdi’s famous opera Rigoletto.

A striking harlequin-inspired design, with a barrel decorated in red, black, and white diamond-patterned resin that evokes the colorful costume of the jester Rigoletto. The cap is finished in deep red resin and topped with a handcrafted black-and-red glass murrina, while the uniquely shaped pocket clip resembles a jester’s curled shoe. Decorative engraved rings around the cap and barrel reference the bells, belt, and costume details traditionally worn by court jesters.
